Head Scout Luke de Leseleuc
Luke de Leseleuc enters his second season as a scout with the University of Victoria Vikes Hockey club. Prior to joining the Vikes, Luke was part of the Sports Management World Wide GM and Hockey Scouting program, where he was mentored by Dr. Lynn Lashbrook, former GM, Coach and President of the Boston Bruins Harry Sinden, and Michael Oake, the GM of the Peterborough Petes.
Over the past 40 years, Luke has volunteered his time coaching Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget teams in Nova Scotia, Manitoba and Quebec and is excited about the Vikes future.
When Luke isn’t scouting for the Vikes, he speaks to youth in schools, at conferences, in universities and colleges, and to parents at town hall meetings sharing his life-changing story with Smart Choices Magazine.
Team Chiropractor Dr. Cale Copeland
Dr. Cale Copeland BSc.N, D.C. has been a practicing chiropractor since 2006 and is owner of Victoria Family Chiropractic. He’s a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic West as class Valedictorian, Magna Cum Laude and was also a member of the school’s prestigious sports council. He served as the official Chiropractor for the Victoria Grizzlies junior hockey team from 2007 to 2017 and currently works with the UVIC Vikes hockey club as team chiropractor. He volunteers his services to the homeless at Our Place every month and has been doing so since 2010. Dr. Copeland is a frequent speaker on the topics of health, performance and prevention. He is also the host of ‘Back to Health’ a bi-weekly podcast where he interviews established professionals from all disciplines on health and performance.
